I am Smitha Arun, owner and cake artist at Stollen N Guilty.
Stollen N Guilty was born of a deep passion for fine art & pastries. I have always been drawn to the creative side of life. In my earlier avatar, I was an Architect for over 10 years before I switched lanes, and swapped building structures of cement and steel for those in sweet and flour.
Bespoke Cakes
Our speciality are the unique bespoke cakes catered specifically to our client’s needs.
Fabulous cakes arising from a combination of the moist cake, silky-smooth buttercream, a luscious ganache and most of all customized sugar decors which are creations of patience and persistence with an aesthetic detail.
Every cake project is handcrafted with the utmost care and dedication making this studio more of a cake boutique than a bakery.
Fusion Flavours
Playing with flavours has always been my zeal, be it cooking for the family or baking. That’s when I started experimenting with fusion flavours – a marriage of Indian & Middle Eastern flavours with French pastry or the Classic cakes. Cakes & Desserts based on exotic Indian sweets flavours like Rasmalai, Gulab jamun etc has now become our niche product.
Macarons
Out of all the desserts we offer, Macarons are one of my favourite confections. At Stollen N Guilty, we ensure to make the perfect macarons, with the best ingredients to create an exceptional melt-in-the-mouth experience. Along with the classic flavours we have our own selection of unique fusion flavours which are exclusive to our brand, especially popular during the festive seasons. Our Diwali delight boxes of Indian fusion flavour macarons is one of the most popular Diwali gifts in Singapore.
It is frequently said that “People Eat with Their Eyes First”, and at Stollen N Guilty, we truly believe that. Here, we bring to you the best of both worlds –a visual feast followed by the flavourful taste, making it a wholesome experience.
My mission when I create my edible art is to leave every customer with the lasting memory of a beautiful experience – the design process, the top-notch final product & last but definitely not the least, the sweet interaction.
